This store and website (the “Services”) are operated by Anna Shkinder, an individual entrepreneur registered in Ukraine, under the name Anna Shkinder Art (“I”, “me”). The Services are powered by Shopify. This Privacy Policy describes how I collect, use and disclose your personal information when you visit this website, buy an artwork or contact me. If there is a conflict between the Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy controls with respect to your personal information. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy.

Personal information I collect

  • Contact details: your name, billing and shipping address, phone number and email address.
  • Payment information: payment details are entered at checkout and processed by Shopify and my payment partner Western Bid. I do not see or store your full card number.
  • Account information: your login details and preferences, if you create an account.
  • Transaction information: items you view, add to your cart, buy, return or cancel.
  • Communications: what you write to me, for example in an email or an Instagram message.
  • Device and usage information: your IP address, browser, device, and how you use the website.

Sources I collect personal information directly from you, automatically through the website (including cookies and similar technologies), and from service providers who work on my behalf.

How I use your personal information

  • To provide the Services: to process payments, fulfil and ship orders, handle returns and refunds, and answer your questions.
  • For marketing: to send emails if you subscribe, and, where enabled, to show you relevant ads. You can opt out at any time (see “Your rights and choices”).
  • For security and fraud prevention.
  • To communicate with you and provide customer support.
  • To comply with the law, respond to valid legal requests, and protect my rights.

How I disclose personal information

  • Shopify, which hosts the store, and other service providers (for example IT, cloud storage, analytics and customer support).
  • Western Bid, Inc., my payment partner and Merchant of Record. It receives the information needed to process your payment, handle refunds and payment disputes, and meet its tax and legal obligations. It has its own privacy notice.
  • Shipping carriers (such as Ukrposhta and other carriers), which need your name, address, phone number and email to deliver your parcel and clear customs.

  • Other third parties when you ask me to or consent to it, and authorities or advisers where required by law or in connection with a business transaction.

I do not sell your personal information for money.

Relationship with Shopify The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your use of the website in order to provide and improve the Services. Shopify may also use information from your interactions with this store, together with other merchants, for enhanced features; in those cases Shopify is responsible for that processing. Depending on where you live, you can exercise certain rights through the Shopify Privacy Portal (https://privacy.shopify.com/en).

Third-party links The website may link to other sites, such as Instagram. I am not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, so please read their policies.

Children The Services are not intended for children, and I do not knowingly collect personal information about children under the age of majority in their country. If you believe a child has given me personal information, please contact me and I will delete it.

Security and retention No security measure is perfect, so I cannot guarantee absolute security, and information you send to me may not be secure in transit. I keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the Services, handle returns and disputes, and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Your rights and choices Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, I treat it as an opt-out request for that browser and device. I do not respond to other “Do Not Track” signals. You can unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time using the link in them; I may still send you messages about your orders.

If you live in the UK or European Economic Area, you may also object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where I rely on it, without affecting processing done before the withdrawal.

International transfers I am based in Ukraine, and your information may be processed in Ukraine, the United States and other countries where my service providers operate. Where required, I rely on recognized transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

Changes to this policy I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. I will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
