Memory in Crimson

This antique-inspired amphora is an original hand-painted vase painting, made to hold and to keep. Its surface is layered with crimson, gold and pale blue, the way a life is layered with days that leave a mark. Nothing is polished away. Every season, every walk, every journey stays in the vessel, and it grows more beautiful for it.

The chrysanthemums are the part that changes. They bloom late, when the year is turning, and they decorate the autumn the way nothing else can. Painted in thick, expressive strokes of blush pink, peach and gold, they carry the warm light of late sunsets and the colours of a season lived fully: slow walks, new places, golden evenings. Flowers are temporary, and so are we. We change, and each version of us adds a new layer to the vase. What matters is to notice it while it is happening.

Painted on natural textile with an unpainted raw edge, this textile wall hanging is a one-of-a-kind piece of modern floral wall art for a living room, bedroom or hallway, and it leaves space around it for the seasons still to come.
